FARGO, N.D., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ulteig, a purpose-driven consulting engineering firm, announced the promotion of Aaron Lauinger to serve as its first Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this role, Lauinger will lead Ulteig’s enterprise commercialization efforts, connecting strategic market opportunities with client relationships, business development, advisory services, strategic partnerships and disciplined execution. His focus will be helping Ulteig develop, prove and scale differentiated growth opportunities across the organization.

The company created the Chief Commercial Officer role to provide greater enterprise leadership between strategic direction and scaled execution, particularly as Ulteig expands its capabilities, geographic reach and approaches to creating client value. The role is designed to help Ulteig mobilize cross-company capabilities around the strongest opportunities, responding to evolving client needs and industry trends.

Lauinger brings more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering, project delivery, client service, market development and enterprise leadership to the role. Since joining Ulteig in 2006, he has held progressively broader leadership roles supporting municipal, transportation, aviation and private-sector clients. Throughout his career, he has focused on building trusted client relationships, leading high-performing teams and advancing strategic growth initiatives that strengthen both business performance and client outcomes.
