PORTSMOUTH, Va, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — BolenBliss.com, a multicultural and bilingual wedding platform founded by husband-and-wife team Carmen and Zane Bolen, has surpassed 10,000 active vendor listing placements across U.S. markets, six months after launching its directory.

BolenBliss.com co-founders Carmen and Zane Bolen celebrate their wedding surrounded by guests waving light-up foam wands and wearing hora loca accessories. Zane’s traditional Colombian hat reflects the Colombian and American influences the couple brought together in their celebration.
For couples bringing cultures together, finding wedding professionals can involve questions beyond price and availability. Can a planner communicate with both families? Will a photographer recognize an important ceremony tradition? Can an entertainment provider bring guests together across languages and generations?
“A wedding can bring two families together before they share a language,” said Carmen Bolen, CEO and co-founder. “The vows a grandparent can understand, the music that gets both families dancing, the tradition someone has waited a lifetime to share: those details deserve a place in the planning from the beginning.”
Carmen, originally from Colombia, and Zane, from Virginia, bring their own cross-cultural perspective to the Portsmouth-based business. At their own wedding, a traditional Colombian hat, hora loca accessories and light-up foam wands reflected the influences they brought together in their celebration.
With backgrounds spanning software engineering, design thinking, marketing and operations, the founders are building Bolen Bliss around a shared mission: “Where cultures become family.” The platform helps couples discover planners, photographers, venues, caterers and entertainment providers with their cultures, languages and family traditions in mind.
Wedding professionals have also shared their experiences with the platform. In an Alignable recommendation, Tyauna Eley-Adams, co-founder of Stars in the Sky Events in Chesapeake, Virginia, described Bolen Bliss as a platform that “makes it easy to connect with potential clients and other vendors.”
“Easy to navigate and you are not restricted to be a part of one category,” she wrote.
“Couples need to know more than whether a vendor serves their ZIP code,” said Zane Bolen, Chief Growth Officer and co-founder. “They want to know whether that person understands what matters to their families. We’re building Bolen Bliss to make that part of finding a wedding professional.”
The directory milestone comes as BolenBliss.com approaches its first anniversary. Couples can explore wedding professionals, and vendors can introduce their businesses, at BolenBliss.com.
