Atlanta outerwear maker extends its character-inspired range beyond video games with handmade leather designs drawn from two long-running animated series
ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2026 — Inspired Jackets, an Atlanta-based maker of character-inspired leather outerwear, has added a Naruto Shippuden jacket and a Ben 10 jacket to its anime and animation range, expanding a catalogue in which video game designs, particularly from Cyberpunk 2077, have made up a large share. Both jackets are handmade from leather and are available now at inspiredjackets.com, priced at $249 and $219 respectively.
The additions draw on two franchises with long-running audiences. Naruto Shippuden aired from 2007 to 2017, and Ben 10 first broadcast in 2005; many viewers who followed both as children are now adults buying their own clothing. The company says demand from this group has shifted away from full costumes and toward everyday pieces that carry a recognizable reference without looking like cosplay.
“Most of our customers don’t want a costume. They want a jacket they’ll wear on an ordinary weekday that happens to reference something they grew up with,” said Mehran Khan, CEO at Inspired Jackets. “With the Naruto Shippuden and Ben 10 designs, the job was to keep the handful of details fans spot first and leave everything else on screen.”
How the designs are developed
Each design starts with a single character’s look. A team of designers, tailors and pop-culture researchers reviews the source material and selects the elements fans identify fastest, such as color blocking, panel layout, a hood or collar shape, and hardware. Those elements are carried onto a jacket that is otherwise built to the same fit and finish as a standard leather jacket.
According to the company, the jackets use real leather, are cut for a range of body types, and include functional pockets and construction intended to hold their shape through regular wear. The approach is meant to let the same Ben 10 jacket or Naruto Shippuden jacket work with jeans and boots on a normal day as well as at a fan convention.
Wider collection and availability
The new designs sit alongside the brand’s existing range of movie, gaming, anime and celebrity-inspired outerwear. Video game designs include Cyberpunk 2077 pieces referencing characters Jackie Welles and David Martinez, along with bomber and hooded leather styles; the Cyberpunk 2077 bomber is currently listed at $199.
All orders include free worldwide shipping and a 30-day return window, and ship in eco-friendly packaging, according to the company’s website. Inspired Jackets says it adds new designs to the range periodically.
